Created by the Virginia Center for Health Innovation, the Virginia Health Innovation Network (VHIN) connects people across Virginia working in the healthcare, government, business, philanthropy, education, and consumer sectors to accelerate the adoption of value-based models of health care and wellness in the Commonwealth. The VHIN is a learning and collaboration space centered around the work of the Virginia Center for Health Innovation and its partners. All are welcome to join and contribute.
The Virginia Center for Health Innovation was founded in 2012 as public-private partnership with a goal of facilitating greater collaboration amongst Virginia health care stakeholders following the passage of the Affordable Care Act. Our founding partners include the Medical Society of Virginia, the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers Association, The Virginia Association of Health Plans, the Virginia Chamber of Commerce, the Virginia Health Care Foundation, the Virginia Hospital and Healthcare Association, and Virginians Improving Patient Care and Safety. VCHI serves as an inclusive, transparent, catalyst for accelerating and spreading health care change in Virginia. The Virginia Health Innovation Network is a vehicle for this work.
